Description:
JErgometer is an open source ergometer software written in Java that can be used to record and control your training sessions. Currently only ergometers of the manufacturer Kettler with a COM port are supported. The following devices are known to work with JErgometer:
* Kettler AX1
* Kettler X3
* Kettler X7
* Kettler RX7
If you know more ergometers that are compatible or incompatible with JErgometer please let me know.
Features:
* define your own training programs (pulse-driven or power-driven)
* record and save your training sessions
* view old sessions and compare them with new training sessions using graph that shows your training progress over time
* manage user accounts for separating training sessions of different persons
* run JErgometer on different platforms
* multi-language support (at least English and German at this time)

Denny Beyer has created an OpenSUSE package and provides it and its dependencies in the following repository

The OpenSUSE package has not yet been tested with a real ergometer. If you test it please let me know whether everything works.
