非常不好意思，我写教程时没说清楚，现在帖子又不能编辑了，囧。。。

现在补充一下有关GRUB引导的问题：

从硬盘启动在旧版本下把VEKET安装到独立分区（EXT2或者EXT3）以后，修改一下启动旧版的menu.lst文件，增加一个启动独立分区VEKET的菜单项，例如
title veket Linux 888 full install in sda7
root (hd0,6)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz root=/dev/sda7 pmedia=atahd nosmp
增加这3行就可以了（我是安装到F盘，所以是“hd0,6”和“sda7”，你根据自己情况修改）

大哥，你怎么现在才说啊，我的机器昨天晚上直接就挂掉了，在开机画面上显示
，进入到如下界面：
GRUB Loading stage1.5
GRUB Loading ,please wait…………
Error 21

今天用u盘引导才又进入，想再问个问题，我是双硬盘，也是老机器，但机器本身不支持137G以上的硬盘（在winxp下可以直接认出），有没有什么办法在veket系统里增加对137g硬盘的支持啊

veket对大硬盘没有支持问题，现在大家都用大硬盘，怎么可能不支持呢。

关于重建引导：

如果不能启动电脑，你试试能不能用另一块硬盘启动或者用PE光盘启动，然后在windows或者pe环境下运行bootsect /nt52 c:就可以恢复xp启动。

The ntfs-3g driver was unable to mount the NTFS
partition and returned this error message:
Failed to read last sector (135813440): Invalid argument
HINTS: Either the volume is a RAID/LDM but it wasn't setup yet,
   or it was not setup correctly (e.g. by not using mdadm --build ...),
   or a wrong device is tried to be mounted,
   or the partition table is corrupt (partition is smaller than NTFS),
   or the NTFS boot sector is corrupt (NTFS size is not valid).
Failed to mount '/dev/sdb7': Invalid argument
The device '/dev/sdb7' doesn't seem to have a valid NTFS.
Maybe the wrong device is used? Or the whole disk instead of a
partition (e.g. /dev/sda, not /dev/sda1)? Or the other way around?

So, the inbuilt kernel NTFS driver has been used
to mount the partition read-only.
